Thanks, Im glad I found this forum. I am an auto tech major and I think im going to rebuild a 5.3 for my overhaul project next year. Should be a lot of fun if I end up swapping it with the 4.8 I drive right now. Used lq9s are going for about twice the price at lkqcorp.com. Is the diff in the bore or stroke or both? thanks

I agree.... Just don't do like me and ask questions that have been asked already hundreds of times. The search button up top is GOD. I can spend hours on here just doing research.... Good luck man
