Default Am I sweatin' it too much?

Here's the pic:

Driver's side motor mount bolt broke, it's on the frame side of the motor mount at the front. I've got all the other 5 in and torqued to spec, and I was able to thread a nut on about 2-3 threads of the broken bolt and torqued it to ~65lb/ft.

should that broken bolt be removed(nearly impossible....yes, easier said than done), or will it be ok?

I've thought about having the nut welded to the broken bolt, that would then make it a bolt again, but I'm not sure how to tackle that since it's only threaded into the nut about halfway.

I almost cried when that happened

stop worrying about it, it should be fine, if u want some extra assurance, just take it to a shop and just have them weld the top of the nut to the stud and it'll be fine

I think if you were able to torque it down it will be fine, maybe a aircraft nut or a tack like stated before. You did say there are 5 others holding it in

Hey Colby, I think you should be fine. As long as the other 5bolts are secure the motor should be sitting pretty tight already.

I agree with the others taht if you can get the nut welded on it may be better for your conscience

I'll sell you this for a dollar

It's difficult to get to the stud/nut, but at least it's on the front side of the mount...I'll see if someone can throw a tack on it

If you're worried about it, tack weld a nut on there and remover the bolt and replace it w/ a new one.
