6.0L Cam Recommendation.

since your awd(traction) and mentioned a stall i would skip the cam and go with a stall. it will cost just a little more but will kick ***. you will get more ET reduction for the $ than you will with a cam/springs/pushrods. everyone is droping the prices of their converters lately, it might be the same price as the cam swap.

Hmmmm.....
Hadn't really considered a converter......Guess I'm gonna have to think about both (stall & cam) and see what my budget will allow (if any). Or maybe just leave it alone for now....I think I'm gonna be over budget anyhow just to get it running.....
Just more research to do, right?

I'll let you know exactly when I get it done....I'm hoping to have it together in the next 6 weeks.
6.0l & 4wd 4L80E are sitting in the garage. Bravada is waiting patiently with a 2 speed 4L60E (still has 1st and 3rd).
I'm sure the oilpan will be pretty shallow. I'm planning on building one from scratch, because it'll be easier than modifying the alum pan (I can weld steel, but don't have the hardware / skill for alum). Nice thing about the LSx series is the oilpan flange is flat, makes it alot easier than a standard SBC.
Still have a bunch of stuff to get, including a transfer case from Rockland Standard Gear. They're going to build me a NV246 without low range (basically a NV146) to run in place of the NV136 and mount up to the 80E.
