Default 6.0 long block vs shortblock difference?

Ok I don't know if I'm missing something or not but, I keep seeing adds for 6.0 longblocks and 6.0 shortblocks of the same year. Is there a difference or do people just call them different names ?

A short block is usually around 6 inches shorter than a long block
