Default 5.3L pushrod help

building a 5.3l for a 1500 3door
cam XR259Hr-12 duration: 206,212 lift: 515,522
comp cam hydraulic roller lifters
ls6 springs

wondering if anybody has used the same set up and what kinda pushrods did you use

You will want hardened pushrods for longevity and brand has little importance however you will want to measure even it I would guess 7.4 length.

x3 as long as the heads are NOT milled and stock height gaskets 0.051 or 0.053 are used 7.4 will work fine.

I do believe the stock pushrods are 7.38 but everybody buys and uses the 7.4s with no issues

I ran a mild lunati voodoo cam in my 5.3 s-10 with double valve springs and stock pushrods for about 6 months before I sold it. I do believe that the factory pushrods were a touch short, and do believe that the 7.4 would have quieted everything down, but I never got around to it. It worked, just sounded like a sewing machine when running above 2000 rpm.
