OK, the new spark plugs fixed my miss problem, and my truck feels about the same on the low end, maybe a little less, but its a 4.8, it doesn't have much to loose on the low end but so far it does feel stronger from about 3500 on up. Need to finish getting the tune dialed back in and will try to get back to the dyno in a week or to. Before dyno number last week where 352 RWHP and 386tq, so we will see what it does.

Th elonger push rods aren't a must but if you don't get longer pushrods you won't get the .550 lift the the cam has to offer. stock will work but it will only lift about .530 or so.

Ummm... yes you will, you need to learn how hydraulic self adjusting lifters work With a smaller base circle, there's not .025 of "play" in the valve train, the lifter adjust for the length difference with the preload and the push rod is still a solid link between the lifter and the rocker, so you receive the FULL lift of the cam, there is just less preload on the lifter.

The LS7 cam is 211/230 on a very wide LSA (I think 119?) and the .591" lift is with 1.8 rockers. It would be .558 with stock 1.7 ratio rocker arms.

That cam might work well in a 5.3 motor if you can get around the cam sensor issues.

Yea I knew it had high ratio Rs. Wasn’t sure if that was why the lift was so high, you wouldn’t happen to know the power results of putting this cam (Plus Springs, RR) in a 6.0 LS2 would you.

i am actually running a 2003 LS6 Z06 cam, it lacks a little in the low end, i recommend a 3000ish stall, but from 3500+ it pulls hard, i am customed tuned with advanced timing, higher idle and i raised my redline to 6200 rpm. i really enjoy the cam, i would recommend it but now that i've had a taste i'm looking to bigger and better things! next vehicle, bigger cam.

I didnt like it much in my N/A 5.3L setup. I had much better results with a custom 226/.535/112.

My buddy had it in his 6.0L and didnt like it much either. He gained a ton more with a custom 228/230 cam or something like that.
