I drive all the time with a 3900 stall and a 237/242 cam so my idea of streetable is very aggresive for most. I dont think it will be streetable due to how large of a stall and large cam it will take to work well. 325CI motor doesnt ahve the stroke to produce the tq down low needed to be "streetable". It will be doggy down low then all the suddent turn on at 4K.

just not what i had planned for this. it was suppose to be fun toy something i could drive daily and still be quick and still serve a purpose. i got greedy wanted more and more and now this. if i get a trans to hold together this time ill be happy if not ill go back to a tame motor. either my old 5.3 or find another LQ9 cheap and toss it in with just car intake, headers and etc but leave it near stock. mild shift kit and TB converter and call it a day. thats a garrentied 13s truck and more then enough to play with.
this was only going ot be a mild build of a 5.3 to get 13s/12s on juice. ended up getting a great deal on a dream motor, had a slight issue then decided to try and out do my car buddies in POWER. well im at that point and now i face the typical issue of power+weigh=bad setup. for me to do a 80 wouldnt be cost effective for me. it woudl be cheaper for me to do what i said then do a built 80 conversion. but dont let me intrude on anyones thinking. this is just my reasoning and should be taken with a gain of salt to others. 80s a great trans but it would be my determining factor of demodding a truck then
