why not 80e reliable, bulletproof and easy to install on a 2wdthis was only going ot be a mild build of a 5.3 to get 13s/12s on juice. ended up getting a great deal on a dream motor, had a slight issue then decided to try and out do my car buddies in POWER. well im at that point and now i face the typical issue of power+weigh=bad setup. for me to do a 80 wouldnt be cost effective for me. it woudl be cheaper for me to do what i said then do a built 80 conversion. but dont let me intrude on anyones thinking. this is just my reasoning and should be taken with a gain of salt to others. 80s a great trans but it would be my determining factor of demodding a truck then
