Well there is quite a bit you can do.... You can remove the tailgate, and spare tire, and if you want to get crazy you can also remove rear bumper, spare tire wench, front sway bar, passenger seat, middle seat/ console.... That is all that comes to mind right now....

I know it does'nt sound like much, but rule of thumb is every 100 lbs shed is worth about a tenth of a second....

if you really get crazy you can remove some a/c components and stuff too, if extended cab take out back seat, do the head light mod, hell why dont you just pop out your rear window too....kidding, thats an interesting rule of thumb tho, 100# .1s good deal

So if i'm putting a 5.3 in my S-10 and my goal is around 300 to the ground how hard is that going to be to obtian. I know you guys are talking about 400+ but shouldn't i hit around 300rwhp with a mild cam, tune, headers and full exhuast, and a cold air intake?

Pretty much a decent cam with supporting mods will get you there easily.

Comp cams are idiots they recommend the stupidest **** seriously. A 228 with a 3400 or 3600 stall in an S-10 would be awesome.
