Looking for a cam for my 5.3....running 243s milled 0.30......ls1 Intake but I'm changing to a ls6....350 trans stock Converter.....was looking at a ls6 cam but want something lil more aggression ...good street cam nice sound but can kick sum ***.will bump up the converter if I need to....the motor is going in a g-body cutlass... So any advice will be helpful..thanks fellasB-)

The TR220 112LSA would be a good cam IMO

I'd use the LS6 cam and forget about a high stall converter, G body's can't run wide tires without body modifications. A 5.3 in a G body is gonna have traction problems so why make power you will not be able to use?

How big of a stall we are talking about to run the tr220 112??? How would it do on the interstate ??

Stall doesn't really matter on the interstate unless the clutches are burned up and it won't lockup.

^Good point.
I'm running a TR220 with a SS3600 stall. Love it at the track and 50+mph on the street but getting on it a low speed on the street is useless even with the Trutrack, Caltracs, QA1s, Calvert rear 9way, and 285 Nitto NT05R's.
If your running it on the street a lot I would keep the stock stall and throw in the LS6 cam and call it a day.
