I've never ran the ms4 I'm just talkin big cams in general that people say won't work in the 5.3. I run a 236/240 .616ish lift on a 112lsa but I also run higher compression and 4.56 gears and will have a big converter come racin season again. I can tell you the way it is right now is the happiest I've ever been with my truck NA. But that's kind of an apples to oranges comparrison for what you're doing

however...I ran a 232/236 .595 112lsa on a bone stock 5.3 with stock heads, headers, 2.5" duals, stock converter, and 3.73s and my 60' stayed EXACTLY the same as when I had a 221/221 but actually ran .3 quicker in the 1/4 over the smaller cam.

Now I'm not sayin that the tr220 isn't the most badass 5.3 cam of all time, because it is! It's been proved time and time again. But not everybody wants to be like everyone else. We like to step step outside the box and go against the grain a little bit. Now you obviously know that your setup isn't goin to be optimum. To take full advantage of that cam you'd need to do what the guy above said, more compression, nice intake and tb, big converter, and strap gears. But you never said you were looking for optimum. You're working with what you have like many of us do. You want a badass sounding car that's gonna run good. You'll have it! Have fun and good luck!
