402 cam

Default 402 cam

i was planning on running a regular 6l and bought a comp xer 224/224 .581/.581 114+4. now im going 402 and need to know how it would run on this for now. im going for a stock sounding ride, so i dont want to go huge.

Then keep that cam. Anything larger then that and oyu will start to get some lope. With that cam it will still try to hit a little lope but will probably go back to idling normal. Also depends on the exhaust you are going to be running. That corsa will be like a megaphone for any sort of lope, a chambered muffler will muffle the lope better but I wouldnt give up my corsa for any other muffler except for the sts turbo Illb einstalling soon

gonna try the cam, then i will go with pacesetters and a custom magnaflow catted y pipe. there is no way in hell i will drop that corsa either.

That cam won't lope a bit in a 402. Mine doesn't even lope

It's a good choice for a stock sounding ride.

its a small cam for a stroker. it depends what you are wanting to get out of the motor. high hp or lots of tq. with the 114+4 lsa it will idle very nice with not much lope at all.

the beast makes 405 rwtq at 2000rpms NA

With the right setup I think it will perform very well the lsa could be alot lower but it should work well.
