so, it is unrealistic money wise to upgrade your 4.8 to a 5.3.
also can you bore out the 4.8 to fit the 5.7 piston rod cramk set up?
would that be a better option for money. oviouly this route will be more but greater overall effect

JE? i'd be interested in some ls1 pistons, what kinda improvement woudl you expect to see in those aside from the difficulty of install but it woudl be a cool thing to do during a cam swap...what kinda suporting mods wouldbe needed?

sounds like something to do when im getting in this real big with big money, sounds in the price range of a turbo with all the boring and engine removal... a little more than i expected, maybe later
