the 4.8 will be nice, but you're going to want the big block like power out of the 6.0

So if I put the crank and rods in it will be a high compression 5.3???? How would it run? I have a th400 and a 2800 stall, what would be the cam of choice??? Am I just as well off to spend the $180 and have it bored to a ls1 since I have the pistons, rods, and a crank? If I go ahead and bore what cam do I need to be looking for? I am trying to get the rest of my parts together is why I am asking all the questions. This motor will need to be able to smoke 2 295/40/20's. I installed a eaton posi and some 3:73's
Thanks for all the help

That site says to not bore the 6.0 iron over .010" either, which doesn't make sense in that lots of people bore them out anywhere between .030 to .060 over.

What is the advantage to running it backwards? Wouldn't getting the intake plumbing to it be a problem?
