Default 4.8 cam advise

Hey guys I got a 2003 ecsb 4x4 with a 4.8 was wonder what you guys thought about a 212/218 on a 112 +4. Was also thinking about the lsr 215/223 cam. Most likely gonna get a 3200 stall sometime. Thanks in advance.

Nobody really any opinions besides a engine swap that's planned also but I want the cam first so I can swap it over not looking for a dragracer just yet. Just want a little extra power.

The 212 218 cam would be a good choice for your truck. Things about the 4.8 is there is really no hope for adding any power below 4500 rpm so you won't gain anything other then when the throddle is pinned to the floor. Id also recommend the cam IM running, 212-212 562 lift 112lsa +5

I just did a 212/212/110 for a NA 4.8L and he seemed pretty happy with it.

I've rode in Kamerons truck since the swap and it feels better than his previous 216 Vinci turbo cam for sure!! 212 is a Better rounded cam!

The 212/218 would be my recommendation, although we do offer two variations the "high lift" with more lift and 115lsa and "low lift" with 114lsa. My $.02, If it were mine, I would go with the "high lift".

Comp Cams 212/218 LSx Cam "HIGH LIFT"

Comp Cams 212/218 LSx Cam "LOW LIFT"

Jake I will give you guys a call when I decide what I'm gonna do I like the higher lift but I like the lower lsa may have to get you guys to do a custom grind high lift with lower lsa. If I'm gonna do a cam I want that lope.
