Hey guys im kinda new to this fuel injected performance stuff. I have always jacked with carbs. I am coming to like what I am seeing from reading the posts from you guys. I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 SCSS currently with a 4.3L H.O. it runs good and gets great mileage, but im looking for a lil more pull. I have located a 2004 6.0L with a 4L80E out of a 2500HD in a local salvage yard. Im wondering if anyone has done the swap, and how hard it would be to get everything to bolt up. I have done a 4.3 to 5.7 swap in a S10 Blazer, which was tricky but we managed to get the computer hooked up and it ran good, and all the factory gauges worked. I just dont know how easy it would be in a truck. I will be able to get all the brackets, harness, and computer out of the 2004. Any information would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance for your time.
