dude that big of a stall will kill the tranny quick
do a 3000 yank so its still streetable
a nice set of 243s or 317s(i have a set) that have been ported
some patriot dual springs
caddilac hydraulic lifters or the ls7 lifters
some chromoly pushrods
a 224/224
and a 150 wet shot (plate)
e-fans
underdrive pulley
longtube headers
and then u will be running good

whats your budget?

I've been running the tsp 224r for about two years now on stock stall it isn't that bad. Truck still runs pretty good, I would go with the 228 for sure. I wish I would have went bigger.

yep upgrade the chain and oil pump for sure

go with the 228 but definetely get a stall

dont do anything to your heads cause its really not worth it cause u will eventually want to do a 383 one day and those 5.3 heads will choke it so go ahead and get the better heads now instead of pouring money in somethin u will sale
