Default 220 or 224 cam?

I've been searching for a few weeks now and can't find what I'm looking for. The hotcam is getting evicted and I'm either going with the 220 (TR or TSP) or 224 (same brands). I have a circle-d 3000 converter, I don't know if the 224 is too big for that stall or not. I'm going with a 112 LSA not matter what because I need a lopey idle! So on another note, what's better of the 2, Thunder or Texas speed? Thanks guys!

Why go with either? There are a lot better camshafts out there than that. Go with a custom grind from Ed Curtis or Bret Bauer

How do I go about getting ahold of either of them? I want a cam that's going to build good power, but also not be a huge dog off the line, so that's why I had the 220 in mind because I know a lot of people have had success with it. I'm here to learn everything I can though so I'm open to all info!

TR220 has proven itself in the 5.3 and would be a perfect match with a 3k converter IMO, of those choices I'd run that one.
