Default 2007 sierra -- et head and cam

hi guys

well my bro wants hmmm ill say 100 hp for him is enough

he still dont wanna change or upgrade the auto gear clutch

so what do u think 100 hp will he'll be fine with stock clutchs!!

ok my most important q. is i want to get for him an et cylinder head since i am satisfied with the power that i got from et heads on my c6 and my ls1 .

so will et cylinder head 215 will fit the 5.3 engine ( stock bore )

and what cam would he go for?? he want a very smooth cam .

what truck and motor? sounds like he has the 4.8 with a 5 speed.

the stock bore is 3.77 on the motors.

whats the specs on the 215 heads for valve size?

If he does in fact have a 5.3L, you're better off with a set of stock ported heads or Edelbrock heads worked over for a 5.3L if you're going to stay with the stock pistons.

for 100hp in a 5.3, you'll need a stock longblock, all bolt-ons, and a cam + tuning.

Yeah, the stock heads are a great piece to play with. Try headers and a cam first before you go yanking those off.
