Thanks Skeet on the cam feedback on PTV. Figured he'd be fine, I was just throwing out a FYI as it can't hurt to check.
Hmm interesting about the intakes guess I'll just leave the intake stock and go with a FAST later on down the road when $$$ allows!

I've been really impressed with the numbers that I've seen with the new Fast Lsxrt truck intake...20hp seems to come to memory...

I pulled the heads off the LQ9 last night and everything looks great, cleaned the top of the pistons too. I'll get some pics up in a bit. I ordered new ARP Head Bolts, and ARP Stainless Intake Bolts as well.

Here's what it looks like as of now!

Plan is to clean and sand the block, then prime and seal it and paint it Copperhead, the color of the truck. Should look good! I'm open to suggestions on painting other parts of the engine, I may want to find some nicer valve covers as I won't be able to run my Coil Covers with the LS3 intake.

No sorry I've already bought my heads, but thats a heck of a good deal shouldn't be hard to sell them.....

Got in the injector pigtails for the LS3 injectors, the connector type is EV6/USCAR.

UPDATE:
Painted the engine, the Copperhead color of the truck and it turned out looking awesome. Now I'm going to pull the oil pan, front cover, and valley cover and sand blast them and clear coat them! Should set it off a bit, if the bare clear coated aluminum doesn't look right I'll find a nice gray color for them.
Check the pictures out....
