Default .045" head gasket choice?

Is there any other company beside Cometics that sells a .045" head gasket (or close to) for a 4" 6.0?

If not, whos got the best price for Cometics?

I got mine from SDPC. I think they were around $130 for the pair.

I also have heard that Fel-pro makes a .045 but I could not find it when I was looking.

$130 is so far the cheapest I've seen so far, thanks.

Yeah I haven't seen any fel-pro ones yet either.

I've heard of Titans their called I believe but haven't found a good site that sells them.

Yours would have been for a smaller bore size though and your sure they are .045"?
I did look through summit and found some for a 4" bore but it doesn't say what thickness they are. Guess I'll have to dig a little deeper.

Good find 4.8T.

I wonder if it makes a difference if I go with the 4.135" vs the 4.03" I was thinking about.

I see SDPC has 4.160" Cometic gaskets for only $120.

What pro/cons is there to going with a slightly larger bore gasket? IE: 4.135" vs 4.160"

I was going to run a 3.910 bore gasket with my 3.78 bore, Cometic said I would have no problems with it except a little less compression than a gasket of a smaller bore but same thickness.

So I guess with the slighter bigger bore gasket but being that its a little thinner, it should about equal out the same.

So now the real question is, since the Fel-Pro's are basically the same price as Cometics. Which would be the better choice?
