Default shocks for lowered silveraydo

Open for any suggestions on a good riding shock. I have run the belltech shocks and struts and seemed too firm for a DD. Went back to stock struts and is so so. The stock rear shocks definitely did not like it as they had about 2 inches then they'd bottom out. Swapped everything over to MCG's shocks and struts and rides pretty good soft and smooth, just did not last. So im open for any suggestions I know there have been some people to cross reference shocks for shorter size and run off the shelf s*#t. I know vikings can be done just looking for anything else as last resort.

My dad just bought a Colorado and the shocks look shorter, so Im gonna see if one of those will fit if so I will buy some Monroe's or a good replacement. I hate these damn Belltech's with passion!

For the rear, I would get some Bilsteins...

I heard they were stiff too. Are they not? I want something softer because I have a sway bar on the rear.

I forgot to mention i did run a monroe reflex at one point also. I found another forum and old thread with a guy on 07-13 model lowered the same and somebody did what you mentioned. I have no idea where that part number is now and no idea what they fit other than they where the right length and ride height with the exception of the eyelet diameter. i did drill them out a little.

my bad left that part out. surprisingly on the reflex about the same as the belltechs. I think ive found that thread i mentioned its from a member on here from another site and thread long ago. I wondering if I take that number and find what its for or another shock say KYB or something else.

I might just hold off and do a relocate and save for some Viks, or something double adjustable.
