I love my BT's. I've found that the rear is a little soft but that may be because of it only have 3 springs in the leaf on each side.
Other then that, I like them. But I do prefer a more firm ride.

I agree I like a firm ride some what, but idk if it's being a rcsb to me the ride feels choppy.. I know with a little bit of weight in the bed it feels much better. I guess I'm getting old I think I prefer ride quality over handling At this point.

The Bilsteins are better than what has been mentioned.
Had the following
Monroe Reflex - these are good but not a nice enough ride.
Belltechs - The reflex were better
Doetsch - sucked ***.. more like a hood/trunk strut IMO
Bilsteins - what I was looking for, they absorb everything and give a firm but nice ride.
You could always get Ride Tech RQ/HQ or even Fox.
With all of these since they are going on a lowered truck have to spec another vehicle, then modify the sleeves/bushings or replace them.
The Ride Techs will come with different size sleeves, so that is easy.
Not sure what the Fox for a different application would need
The Bilsteins will need to have the bushing and sleeves removed and replaced with correct size and you need to get them from their custom application series shocks.

Thanks for the Bilstein input wuznme. I ran some on my 04 rcsb years ago and liked them and put a set on dad's 06 ccsb and he wasn't too big a fan. I guess different strokes for different folks right. Not hating on Belltechs maybe it's just hit and miss. I spoke with a guy guy a while back at A big speed shop in north GA. He told he went through 3 or 4 pair before getting a pair that seemed to match and ride good. Idk thats just what he said
