5.3 3.42 dont know if dad will want it tuned,he wants to do true duals with flowmasters.i said dad thats so old school why not then just put a carburetor on it.

changing the exhaust i fear it could lose efficency especially with no custom tune

Damn, that's a NICE looking truck Gonzo. I think you're right about changing out the exhaust with no tune, plus he might not like the sound when it goes into gas saving mode and is just a very loud 2.65 liter four-cylinder … makes my head hurt just to think about it.

Carburetor? LOL!

Haha on the carburetor. I bet that thing would stay right beside my CCSB 6.2 just based on what my uncles CCSB 5.3 did to me. Pulled me in first gear. I bet that truck would run really good and hurt some feelings. Just get it from him one day and tune it without telling him! Haha

^This. AFM + louder exhaust was terrible on my 2010.

I really like the truck Gonzo, congrats. I think my favorite improvement to the CK7 trucks exterior was the bed lines. They're more even with the cab/door lines and it all seems to flow better.

New truck looks really nice Gonzo! I can see a few things (appearance-wise) that I'd change up, but I like the truck's lines a whole lot better than the GMT900 lineup.

Drop and some boost should do the trick.
