Default question for you guys running 4/7 Mcgaughys

did you use the Mcgaughys shocks too? i need opinions on the shocks. my performance shop wants me to use Mcgaughys instead of belltech and i'm concerned about ride quality.

Running belltech 2" splindles and adjustable struts up front and mcgaughys rear flip kit with belltech shocks and mcgaughys shock extenders so no help here lol. Ive heard the mcgaughys shocks are softer than the belltechs.

i appreciate it. it looks like we're getting a good deal on the entire kit...i'll just change the shocks later if i don't like them

If you want a firmer shock than yes go with Belltech. I saw the dyno graph for the McG shocks vs. Belltech, Belltech is firmer out of the two brands.

Personally I am running Belltech Street Performance shocks/struts on my 13' Silverado. I am lowered 5.5" front and 8" rear.

I actually have some of the Belltech struts on sale right now
