Default Drag Radial set up Help

so I'm stepping into new territory, trucks and drag set ups. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 WT 5.3L L82 with a 3.08 rear axle.

I originally wanted to widen my rear rims from 17x8 to 17x10 and throw on some Mickey Thompson ET Streets S/S 275/40R17 but I figured that might be dangerous to run custom widened steelies.

So I was thinking I might be able to get away with some Pro Comp 51 series 15x10 on the rear, and keep the front the stock 17's.

The question I have is will the 15x10 fit the rear and if so what size tire should I get for the PC51's. (BTW the rear is going to be dropped an inch from removing the stock lift block).

Not sure if they changed anything on the 16's but on my 15 wt 17's is as small as you can go.

Yeah I believe 17" is smallest you can go on stock. You can buy brackets to do a brake conversion to fit 15" in the rear.

If the wheel widening is done right there should be no problem with the wheel. Also racestar sells direct fit 17x9.5 for these trucks.
