Default Deeper and deeper in debt

Well I bit the bullet and early-adopted a 2019. Wish me luck!

Im excited to hear about your experience! Major departure from traditional GM design, but I think its kinda "spiffy" looking shall we say.

The exhaust is super neat. I wonder what they spent on that.

Whoa that side view of the front fender is an odd one.

Man these new trucks are funky... but I'm sure it drives and performs well.

Take it to the strip and let us know what it runs!

yah I had to do a double take on that side view pic, so odd to see the rounded wheel wells on a Chevy Truck...truck looks good though!

How is the 6.2(still L86?) with the new 10 Speed??

I can't tell you much yet, as i've only got a little over 150 miles on it, but initial impressions are v. positive. Trans feels smooth as butter at low-moderate throttle and downshifts without having to stomp the gas, engine feels really eager, steering is much better than my last LTZ, comfort and convenience are WAY up the scale (especially the electric parking brake that leaves room for a "dead pedal," foot rest for my left foot).

And, yeah, I love the look of those exhaust tips!

That fender sculpting reminds me too much of the recent Impala. Not my favorite feature. I really like the front and rear ends though.

The strip? Oh HELL yeah!

Thanks, I totally agree that overall it looks good. The 6.2 with the new dynamic fuel management is now the L87, and so far it feels like it wants to get up and EAT. Too bad I'm v. conservative on break-in, but I'll be running it on the strip as soon as I can.

Don't they need to make a new section now? These aren't technically k2xx trucks anymore, or so I heard.

Congrats! Everyone I knew hated the '03's. I hated the '08's although I liked the GMC. After seeing a '19 in person I like it!
