better lowering struts?
#1
Hey guys, I was just wondering if you know of any better lowering struts than the McGaughy's that I'm currently running. I think I have them about 1" lower than stock, but they are way too soft in my opinion. If I hit a dip after a bridge on the highway, the front end bounces 2-2 1/2 times before settling out. So, Anything adjustable out there? coilovers maybe? Thanks!!!

I make a coilover bracket kit for these trucks and am a dealer for Viking to get you set up with everything you need for coilovers so you can tune the ride however you want

Sure thing, I just need you to measure how your truck sits right now. Ideally from the top of the spring shock perch on the frame to where the strut mounts on the LCA at the ride height you want. The other way is to measure from the center of the wheel straight up to the fender and tell me that and what lowering components you currently have.
I can get you set up with what you need, but I need to know one of those things to get you the right shock and spring.

Awesome. When I get the truck back I'll send you measurements

This is an interesting option! with the coilover brackets, is there any additional vibration or noise? Also, it does state that they're for the GMT900, but I'm assuming they will work on the newer model as well, correct?
When looking at the brackets, are the coilovers that show up under "bought together" or whatever the coilover that you would suggest?
I have no idea what spring rate I would need either.. I'm really interested, just need help!
