That set up works with with all the emission stuff and sensors. Just takes out the restrictions from factory tip.

Just funny how now the next gen truck is the now the old weakling

What I would give to be able to go back in time with my L86 and fly by that surburban going up an incline
Man I hear that, and your L86 truck would probably win a drag race with a boat attached to it, with that suburban not having a boat attached to it. Things have changed big time!

Haven’t been on here in a long time. If the op isnt towing a lot the diesel isn’t neccisary, as badarse as the new ones are. I have a 04 2500 with an 8.1, (avatar) an 06 3500 8.1 utility truck and just grabbed an 18 Centennial with a 6.2. The HD trucks were cool when I was younger,I just wanted a more car like truck for non work things, my 3500 still gets used everyday for work, but my 18 1500 is not just the nicest truck I’ve ever driven, it’s one of the nicest vehicles I’ve ever, driven. Period. I can only imagine the 2019s and up are even better. I may pull one of my f-body’s around with it at some point. But anything heavy I have the luxury of having my 3500.

Love my 18 6.2. has every option short of the Denali package and rides great and gets good mileage (17-19ish). Pulled 7000lb or so with it and it did great. I see no need for a diesel unless you were pulling 10k+ fairly often.

In my opinion the 19+ went backwards. The interior did for sure, the exterior I'm still getting used to. The engine is the same, and who knows about the 10 speed..

I honestly never looked at a 19 interior. I can see exterior wise is an acquired taste. Id have to get it set just right to look good. As for the 10 speed, if its anything like my wifes 2020 Explorer (ecoboost 10 spd) it would drive a person nuts. She even commented that my pickup is smoother and the engine doesnt make as much noise. Im not sure on the 8 speed yet. Ive heard they had problems a many.

the 19 white on white front end is starting to grow on me. I agree, the interior is nothing special

I saw a black 19 and thought it looked damn nice but never been a fan of black except my wifes X6 looks badass. For me white, red even a beautiful blue in that order.

I drove one of the 2019 Trailboss field trucks at work. The interior is spartan because its the Custom they get and that is just your standard W/T interior. Honestly it's a nice truck to drive. The ride was very good and I found the steering to be more responsive than I am used too. The 5.3/6L80e is its usual dog self but whatever. I would consider a 2020 6.2 LT Trailboss but then again I don't want something I can't easily mod lol and have to pay a fortune for a cloth interior truck.. same reason I won't move up to a 6.6 gasser HD either.

Same here on the all white. Saw a all black 19 on factory 22s at the dealership by my work, it looked pretty good. But that red truck with the black front end that Chevrolet used in the press release with the black wheels looked terrible. I think it also had around 18" wheels. Just looked like poop to me.

The way I have explained it to people, and in my opinion, is the high option trucks (leather seat, center console, big screen stereo, auto a/c) from 14-18 is something you would expect to see Mercedes or similar company put out, the 19+ truck interior looks more like GM standard issue.
