There is a guy on GMtruckforum somewhere in Texas that regeared his 8 speed truck to 3.73's and he is all stock other wise ( tire height, no lift etc). He does love it!

Man, I would love to get a hold of one and hit it with Bluecat's software, just once. Looking at the gear ratios, you could go DEEP on gearing and still not turn enough rpm's to matter.

Second: 2.970
Third: 2.080
Fourth: 1.690
Fifth: 1.270
Sixth: 1.000
Seventh: 0.850
Eighth: 0.650

 

Have a cam coming in won't be revving high anyway. Just want more low end get go, not liking how heavy it feels.

 

No need to join that group....i'm over there and it's pretty low energy as far as performance stuff goes... I like this site much better for the Engine performance, boosted threads. And they are scared of politics to... I guess the moderators get there feelings hurt to easily or have little feet or dick-less LMAO...

It's more a forum for people who can't change their own oil but are experts on their trucks... then add vent visors and mudflap's and are modded out. Otherwise their largest demographic is the whine, bitch, moan I hate my new truck so i want to complain crowd.

I personally wouldn't join the site again if it were me. I use it as sheer entertainment lol.
