2016 Denali 4wd

So like the title says I'm looking for input on this truck I'm probably going to get tomorrow. So I currently have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 that's lowered on 22's. Fully true dual exhaust and Evans but Needs a trans and a fresh paint job and getting it ready to tow. I have a few cars I'd like to down size my heard and buy just 1 new truck that can tow without question. (Pulling a C6Z and a 2001 Firehawk Trans Am)
So I went to test drive this 2016 Denali 4wd today and fell in love with everything but the color (it's black) it will become my dd so it's going to always look dirty and that pretty much sucks but looking for input on these. Downfall is it has a 5.3 and I really want a 6.2 but that's no option anywhere near me.. I'd eventually throw a whipple on it, longtubes, high flow cats, and some type of exhaust system I'm unsure of yet. And a tune
It seems to have good power but not sure if it's enough. I wanted a 2500hd but they have none available it looks like with over a 100 miles of.
Any help would be great
I'm sure I've missed some stuff

I couldn't stand a black vehicle unless it was something I rarely drove, the always dirty look would make me angry.
And I'd rather have a 6 speed auto than the 8 speed if that truck has the 8 speed in it.

I would buy a plane ticket to get the vehicle that I want and drive back hundreds of miles. 2 days is a lot better than being trapped in something that you're not happy with for years....or losing THOUSANDS of dollars.

Buy the 2300 or 1900 maggie and call it done, don't worry about the 6.2 if its just a tow pig and DD. The money i would have spent on the 6.2 went towards the blower, and it has more power and easily tows my 18ft dovetail. The 5.3 with a blower has more tq than a 6.2 damn near off idle, and running corn gives a little extra too.
Plus if I was worried about towing i would have a trailer brake (should be stock on a denali), and load-leveling air bags. T

I ended up getting the truck guys. It was too good of an opportunity to pass on. Got the truck for $7k off sticker price and they paid off my trade in I was upside down on as well. I'm not too mad about it and after driving it a week now I definitely love it. Such an awesome truck

Well now that that's settled don't be afraid of a Whipple. I've never had a Mag so cant comment but I wanted more power for just a bolt on than the Mag could do stock. I think I achieved that easily. Now if you want to f with it, doesn't matter which one.
