Fake shake is correct, even with double 1/4” spacers stacked, and the hump ground down it touched.

Oof...so really there's no other purpose to mill that section down besides aesthetics.

Well yes and no

Some wheels benefit from it but some don't. I will probably try and pick up some AT4 wheels to do this but I haven't decided.

It was 100% necessary for me to grind the hump to run GMT900 LTZ20s with those brakes. It was still so close it gave me goose bumps so I ran a 1/4” spacer at that time.

Couldn't someone just measure across the face of the rotor (where the wheel mounts flush), how far out the caliper sits to the center of the rotor, and 90 degrees off to see how much clearance would be needed. Then we could measure across the back of the wheel between the barrel, and down to the mounting face to see if it would fit? Measurements would need to be spot on, but this seems like trying each specific wheel to see if it fits, is the throw parts at it method. ( I'm thinking that this is the only way we could get manufacturers to measure their wheels and we might find someone with several options, or perhaps even willing to make something (redrilled, or altered design)).

Maybe a hair off but measuring the face of the calipers when lined up at the caliper mounting locations, the 4 piston sticks out .880 further. I understand that’s not the whole story consider WHERE it sticks out. We need a drawing or a side view to actually determine where it matters. Oh, and I mill down .350-.375” to get rid of this bump.

I think these need to be tried at some point. These are both off the Dodge Ram 2019 +. Both are 18 x 8 with I think a ET 19 offset. The barrel doesn't stick in like it does on Chevy wheels. Looks like the barrel will clear, and the spokes on both might clear (first one looks like a better chance), might need a spacer, but this design looks close. I see sets of these are pretty cheap.

Most barrels will clear but the spokes are the killer
