Is this under the block? Built in to the block? I thought it was weird the temps pretty much stay at 190 after TC and additional cooler install. With both the stock cooler and the 40k inline it should be much cooler this my explain why I have t seen much change... anybody get around to doing a write up?

This trans cooler is not needed like mentioned above. Best thing to do is to t-state on the transmission and run cool like in the 130-140 max temps with big converters.

Well the 40k is already in there so that’s beside the point now. Looking for someone to illustrate where the t stat is and how to modify it.

If the 40k is already there then leave it alone and don't do the trans T stat or your asking for problems. Trans will run too cold and mess **** up.

do you have a logical reason or an emotional reason

just follow the t-stat to where the trans cooler lines go into the transmission.

Both transmission lines go into the t-stat. The t-stat is bolted to the trans.

190 is not overheating, our fluid is a little better these day.

Unless you're racing I don't see the point other than justifying your trans cooler purchase which you likely wasted your money on

i wouldn't recommend that , stock cooler + tstat bypass on my truck it run from 158f to 170f .

the tstat should be under driver side , do not let run too cold or it will ruin transmission .
