Default 2014 RCSB thinking about going monoleaf

I'm thinking of removing my overload and middle spring, mainly to lower the back a little more. I just don't want to render my truck completely useless. I've got 3" shackles and removed the blocks already. I would add assassins if it would help as I do need a little more traction.

Wouldnt caltracs be a better option for traction vs removing leaf springs? If you plan to carry anything i wouldnt pull a leaf unless u got helper bags.

I am really trying to get a basic run down of what others have used in the past that works. I've read that guys run monleaf with assassins and have good luck with it.

I really don't haul anything. I took my hitch off.

after tinkering with my s10 some and getting it to work fairly quick, i wish i could give a RCSB calvert setup another shot to see if i could make it hook. my plan of attack would be removing a leaf, relocating shocks, good double adjustable shocks and spring sliders along with a good pinion angle. with a good DA shock, it may not even be necessary to relocate them unless you go extremely low static.

i had the right idea with my old silverado, i just never had the right shock and knowlege on how to make the shocks work.

You want to sell the hitch?

Is it the "tow package" or just a ball

Its the tow package but I think I'm gonna hang on to it for awhile, in case I change my plans.

I wouldn't tamper with the leaf spring pack at all.
