Size: 73.0 KBI just picked up my 2014 silverado a couple weeks ago I've recently put a rough country 2/4 lowering kit in for starters and plan on building a custom turbo setup in the next coming months. I recently took truck to the track to get some base numbers in and to try out a new intake tube I fabbed up. To get a accurate result I ran the truck without the tube or k&n drop in filter, it ran a 14.6@ 96 then I installed my custom built intake tube with the drop in filter and ran a 14.3@ 97mph pretty impressive for a stock truck. Stay tuned for more ill most likely jig up these intake tubes and put them on the market for anyone interested hopefully I'll get started on the turbo kit build soon, I went from a duramax to this 5.3 and so far impressed.

That is pretty impressive. That's 1second slower than a 14 Camaro SS to put it in perspective. (14.3 run)

Some gears and smaller tires would lower that a bit more.

What gear set you have. I have a rcsb 2wd 5.3 with 3.42. 255/70/17 tires. Haven't done anything with it yet but haul a few loads of gravel and timber. Lol.
I'd like 4.10 and 29-30" tires

I have a set of shackles to toss in, and plan to remove the blocks. Just to level it.

I'm glad to see this. It makes me feel good about my truck. I have the same truck as you. The only thing we have different is, I have switched mine front suspension over to aluminum Z71 parts. It took 49 pds off the front. It feels alot faster, but it won't hook. Mine only ran 9.47 in the 1/8th, but it was sideways off the line.

For some reason my truck has all the aluminum front control arms. What I found is launching of idle works best for stock I'm going to build some traction bars and get some sticky tires and see how it does I really was hoping to break into 13s I know I could get it with probably just a tune the shifts rob so much power

My truck weighed 4910 without the trailer hitch or spare tire only reason I had them out is they had to come out when installing the lowering kit so I left them out for the track there back in now

I removed my hitch, spare tire and sway bar. A tune and lowering kit is around the corner.
