1500 and 2500 rear bumper differences

Can i use the chrome part of a 2500HD bumper on my 1500 and just change the plastics and brackets?? Or is the whole thing different?

Assuming theyre the same year trucks the brackets are going to be way off. The 14+ trucks use a new frame and the 14+? HD trucks use a carryover frame since 2011.

I fully expect the brackets to be completely different. Im asking about just the main chrome piece.
