Does anybody know if anything is available for differential upgrades on 2014 & 2015 trucks? Like posi units and gears?

I still haven't seen anything for ours, I've been looking again lately and nothing! It's hard to understand that the aftermarket hasn't got on these yet

Yes there is.

http://www.alldrivelines.com/2014-silverado-1500-re-gear-kit-9-5/

I have 4.10's in my truck, just swapped in yesterday front an rear with the LSD. Pricey as you are paying for the included LSD too, but better than the auto locker an got rid of a clunking sound from rear end which I believe may have been from it engaing or disengaging(I could be wrong as am not too savvy on that but the clunking since disappeared)

The 4.10's are a bit big with the factory diff cover. The drain bolt (per the installer) had to be ground down some as it barely hit, but was other wise fine after.

It's brand new and only 50ish miles on it but so far great no noise an very smooth. Have to get speedo re calibrated which I believe my tuner said there is a correction for this with hp tuner? So I will find out during Dyno tune

An to people out there wondering, I had stock 3.42 5.3 crew cab 4wd short bed

Speedo is about 15 off at 65. Rpms at 65 are right around 2k now, maybe slightly less..

Oh, I have 2.5" spacer with 275/60r20's 8plys bFG at/ko2's so a lot heavier than stock an slightly taller, 33" overall diameter now.

Stock with 3.42s the math works out to 5278 lb/ft of torque applied to the rear wheels(not at wheels applied to them)

[383 lb/ft of torque from motor x 3.42 factory rear end x 4.03 1st gear transmission ratio=5278 for the torque multiplication]

With 4.10s it works out to 6328 lb/ft to the rear axles/wheels. So should feel quite a bit more jumpy/torquey in first gear an didn't cost me much highway it seems so far... But very new... Doesn't downshift at all when accelerating moderately at 65 now..

did you have a cab vibration prior to the new diff? (shaking center seat). do you still afterwards?

I had no cab vibration before to my knowledge or sensitivity. It was smooth an quiet. That was before an after with stock wheels/tires an my now larger 8ply tire setup.

I'm guessing you have already done so, but you can get a rebalance of all tires, not from the dealer(pay out of pocket if you have to so as to ensure its not balance related issue at speed an the dealers don't always have the best equip for tires an want or know how) if it persists rotate front to rear to see if it is a wheel or tire may be out of round /exerting excessive road force(can get road force balance but pricey) I'm guessing this has been done so I'm sorry if rambling an you have narrowed it down to rearend/tranny

Does that kit come with the parts for the front and rear? If not, about how much did it cost to do both?
