Wouldn't this be more than a 2-4 drop?

I thought just a flip kit will lower the rear 6"? I can see the 2" in the front though.

The mcgaughys flip kit lowers the rear by 7", but the hangers raise it back up 3"

Gabriel hijacker air shocks for the 99-07 classic trucks.... If you tell them that you need them for the new body style, they will tell you that they don't have any that fit.... Losers

Does that 7" include the 1.25" removal of the rear block?

If you allready have your block removed...then do the flip kit with stock hangers/shackles...would that be just an additional 5.75" drop?

I thought we already covered this... LOL
if you already took out the blocks it would drop it approximately 5.75" from where it sits now, like you said...
you will understand once you actually get under there and tear it apart, that it completely changes the way the axle is held on the leafs... It doesn't matter if you had the blocks in there or not, you end up with the same 7" of drop from the FACTORY ride height.

lmfao...I just want to make sure. I did a flip kit on my old 85 chevy and got 5" drop.....I just couldnt understand why this was so much more, but its starting to sink in. Im just trying to take measurements for tire clearance to make sure my stockers fit

Next question......how hard was it to change the coils on the struts?....what tool do I need and where do I get one?....again I replaced the coils on my 85 and just borrowed a tool from o'reillys auto for free, but Im not sure that same tool will work on the struts.
