Circle D 3200 here, and it drives great with stock engine, no complaints.

Circle D 3200 imo. i ran that converter with a 228/236 112+2 cam in a 6.2 with 3:42s and it was a hell of a roll racer. the 4:10s helped a lot as far as DD. i swapped to a PI3600 and it was faster, but it wasnt a highway roller. so if i was to still have a 60e id run a 3200-3400. that cam is small for a 3600. run a 224 or hell a 228 if you want to run a 3600+ converter. everyone can run a 4000 stall and be faster e.t wise but its the MPH that matters to me

Hey two piece
Are you looking for bang for the buck? are you going to pay to have mods done?what are your plans and budget?,you might get more bang if all you did was a radix or a turbo.

I would roll a ss3600 or an ss4000, shift extensions will be awesome! And I have yet to see a verter that is as efficient as a yank on the top end. A friend of mine has a 99 firehawk, bolt on, ls6 intake, 3.23's, tr230 (reverse split) and i tuned it. On DRs at memphis it ran 11.64 at 116 with a yank pt4400. That is ginnin for a cam only stock gear car.

a torque converter is chosen by a a dyno sheet for maximum performance, you can cut that in half and do whatever you want that even includes towing, a tune has alot to do with it also and keeping the trans fluid cool. i run a 4400 stall triple disc, yeah you can tell it has a stall, but normal driving you can barely tell and it doesnt take NO 3k to get moving it only sees 3k when im going 80 mph.

on a side note a TT3000 sux ballz, i used to have one and it didnt do crap specially for performance if i was towing it would the shitz..

to the OP you need to find out what you want out of your setup and what your intended goals are then call chris at circle d or yank or even precission industries and give them all the info you can and be accurate about it..it doesnt cost you for advice and these guys will give you the best they can, hell i would even call all of them and see what they have to say then choose

you want my opinion go 34-3600 but all in all it depends what your final decissions are on the truck

I agree..........If he wants a streetable truck then he needs to stay around the 2600 mark. The 2600 isn't the best for this cam but he's not worried about short times. He will be later though........once he gets a taste for what we all hunger for.......LOL!!!
(Watch him change it in a year or so......LOL!!!!)
