Do you have traction control??

I was screwing around with a rental car one day that had traction control and it would do the same thing youre describing sort of....

Maybe not just something to look at

Didn't you just installed your CAI, not sure if it would have any effect but could your MAF sensor be unplugged or loose. Don't know if that would cause your truck to run weird. Imagine it would throw some codes after a period of time if that was the case.

Can't believe your tranny would be giving you trouble with this few miles. Not saying it not possible. Have you made any other changes recently? Did you end up descreaning your MAF?

u did work to the tb?

my guess is the tps sensor i not reading right, mine did some goofy stuff when i put a p&p tb on mine, and i went back to my stock tb...problem solved, find someone with a stock tb and swap them and see if the problem is solved,

oh and mine would work fine the first time i went WOT after starting, after that it acted crazy until i killed it and re-started it

didn't touch the TPS sensor... i've had one go bad before, it did something similar, that was on a cable tb motor...

i didn't think of the traction control system... i don't think that was it though, the little icon didn't flash on the dash.

i am beginning to think the "issue" may have been the stabilitrack system or whatever it is called... i tried like hell to duplicate the symptoms today and couldn't get it to happen... i figured out how to turn that system off and dogged on it again, and it was a beast compared to before especially from a dig

my w/t doesn't have a button on the dash for traction control but we turned it off in the tune and it fixed my truck. my issue was similar, the gas pedal would just quit working for a few seconds. and then it wouldn't be as much for a few more. it started after i put the converter in. i am by no means a tuner but it's worth looking at
