Default weird issues

ok, so today leaving work i decide to romp on the truck... go wot down the access road, she screams like a banshe... hits the 1-2 and keeps going like a patriot missle... shut it down and coast to the stop light... leave the light, round the corner and go wot again, it does NOTHING... just slowly climbs to about 2500rpm barely gaining speed, then i get out of it, hit it again and it kinda revs real hard like it is going to downshift and get it, doesn't, just revs and is barely picking up speed... very weird... any insight? tranny temp was ~100-110* at the time.

when you say just revs, what rpms? is it gong up to redline, or still below 3000?

its only got 5500 miles on it.... it was a demo, i've thought all along that it might be a weak trans... this kind of cements it... guess i'll have to throw the stock tune back in it and see what the dealership says...

yep, still under warranty... only had it 3 weeks... i put the s&b intake on it yesterday... guess all that new power killed the tranny... hah... i think it has more to do with the fact it was a demo than anything.

I don't understand how you all pop trannies like this. My 60e is compleltely bone stock almost 150k miles I romp on the bolt on 6.0 and trans is doing just fine. Just luck of the draw I guess.

this thing was a dealership demo for the first 4400 miles of its life, i think that probably has something to do with it. the 60E in my old truck lasted 52k before it popped, ofcourse it had probably 20 bottles of a 150 shot through it at that point...
