VId of Sierra Denali vs. Mustang in 1/8
Here's a link to a recent run in my old truck. I was running in an 8.00 - 8.99second Bracket and managed to breakout with a 7.995, even though I went hard on the brakes like 150ft from the end. I scrubbed approx. 8 MPH off my usual trap speed (it ran 81.9 instead of 89-90MPH) on that run but still broke out. This was with a shitty tune (WOT AFR in the mid 10's on the spray) and I had the window switch coming in relatively late (2900 RPM and out at 6600RPM, before it shifts at 6800.
I'm getting Justin at Black Bear to do a new tune for me and I'm gonna install lighter 18" wheels and better tires soon (20lbs lighter than the 80lb 20inchers I have now). I think it can run a 7.6. I'll keep you all posted.

Yep. I mat it right off the line. Drive it to the track, open the exhaust, turn on the bottle, and let 'er rip! It still spins quite a bit out of the hole on the spray, but runs pretty consistent 1.8x sec 60' times. On this run, although you can't see it from the video, I could feel the tires gripping and slipping from one to the next. Felt kinda like how a cat must feel when it climbs a tree!

I love those awd Denalis. I just picked up an awd 6L80 tranny/transfer case, and I hope I can fiigure out how to do a 2wd to awd conversion. No one seems to know anything about it, but we shall see. Great run, great truck. Post up more of your runs when you get your tune sorted. Justin is a fantastic guy to work with, and his tunes work flawlessly

Thanks Guys. So far I've beaten this guy like 10 times - never lost! I have beaten up on a bunch of other cars and trucks over here. The only truck that can probably beat me is my cousin's Lightning with a JLP motor and a Kenne Bell supercharger - but he won't run me. I've run Supras, Camaros, AWD Evolutions, Subaros, Integras etc. and they always get a surprise.
Back in December at one of our monthly races, I loaned the truck to my girlfriend and she kicked everone's *** in her class, including a modified LS1 Camaro and a Porsche Cayman S! Sometrimes I wish it were 2WD too, because I know it would be quicker with drag radials, but I realy love not having to change the tires every time I want to race.
I can't wait till I get the tune sorted and get some traction.
