valve train noise?

Ya I did.
When I originally lowered it to do the cam I didn't and when it dropped the oil went everywhere. So lesson learned I drained it this time

did you put a small dab of rtv on all 4 corners where it meets the block? nothing crazy, just something to help with how the oil pan gasket is designed.


also i guess those 7.425" pushrods didnt help ya out

I did the rtv on the engine side. I went by work instructions so I actually did the whole corner rather then just the hard joint of the block.
I think my valve train sounds pretty darn quiet with yhe 7.425"s

I'm glad it got figured out, bit by bit and that I didnt have to pull the heads back off!
been running it a few days now, few WOT runs since, and still sounding good!
