Default Tuned 6.2 w/CAI vs tuned only 6.2

My tuned 6.2 with vararam tri power ( got it on sale at Christmas is the reason I got it, didn't pay full price) both have 3.73's. He ran 8.90 in 1/8 to my 9.0.... I am pleased with the power gain....let me know what yall think...!

Great job test reporting, looked like you got a slight jump. What would clinch it for me is if you would have quickly swapped CAI and ran again. Were you both running the same fuel that day?

He is tuned for 93 and I am 87. No we didn't run same fuel that day. I just have to go o the track and see what difference it made but I didn't pull him like that before. There are some videos on here of u running before. On YouTube too. Search tuned 6.2 vs tuned 6.2 my name on there is mrlyle22...

I ran on that day at the track a jesse bubb waiteformeperformance mail order tune,he had looked at a log and didnt make any changes prior to running at track, I also have a Patric G mail order.I like different things about each.

the day at the track I had on stock 18 tires OEM size and w/4ply

only got 2 runs so safely launched in auto 4x4 switched out at 60' and stalled it to 1500rpm,so yeah i left ET on the table

Yeah that as my brother an the duramax was my dads! I have hp tuners and it's a custom tune, takes us about 3-5 hrs sometimes to do them! I personally would prefer that over mail order but that's IMHO. I have headers and haven't had time to put them on, I'm anxious to see what the gain is there as well

Yes ARH 1.75" at the time of 1/4 mile run. They are laying on shop floor right now, they come on and off so quickly.

You guys speak the langauge of tuning, good for you having that brain power.I do not, but I have EFI live V2 so I can send a log and have retunes.although neither tuner made changes after looking at there logs.So yes the tuners doing this will not get every ounce of power out of it.
You have seen me and another members race at the track vid(NKPPHIL)?,it will show the difference of headers. Both 6.2s
