Default Tire size play role in quicker acceleration?

I have a mild modded 5.3 Avalanche. I know these things are a very heavy. Was wondering is going to a smaller size rim & tire would move it quicker from a stop . I'm not towing but more of a performance truck (sorta ).

With a smaller tire = less rotation = quicker? ?

Less rotational mass will be quicker.

So if you are running wheels that weight 90-100lbs per corner and you drop to 60lbs per corner, that's going to be a huge difference.

Shorter tire would also be like adding gear = quicker acceleration. But, would require calibration to correct the speedometer. Less unsprung weight will help acceleration, and braking as well.

Faster and lighter wheel/tire combo is probably one of the biggest differences you will feel

Overall diameter makes the most difference. Weight of the wheels can also affect performance.
