ive got a prostreet dumped on my truck now. with stock manifolds and cats it wasnt bad at all. with longtubes and no cats it got loud. now cammed and the blower and its really loud. but that didnt stop me from ordering a pair of pro shootouts which should be even louder hahaha

6000 here, love it. The shorter the pipe after the muffler, the better.

The shorter the pipe the better as in louder or less resonation and quieter?

Ive already ordered one of these bad boys so im just wondering. I got the 3.5" in/out

I'm pretty sure he means the actual sound. From all the different cars I've seen/heard with Spintech exhaust you get the coolest sound when the exit is closer to the muffler.

Got ya, we are going to mount it just before the axle. Tube will come over the axle into the stock resonator and out the back in stock configuration.

After the sweet VVT cam vid just posted I think it will be perfect when all said and done!!!

Yep. The exhaust sounded gnarly without a tail pipe. Once I had a tail pipe put on mimicking the stock exhaust setup, the sound was severely neutered.

Put the muffler in the stock location and have it dump about a foot downstream. I was going to do that but the shop refused to do it...
