Cool thanks for the time and input on the response, Sometimes when the truck is this new its hard to get concrete information until you start getting the grease under your nails. I had a old "mud truck" with the the powertrax in it that was noisy but after a while it never bothered me. The only time I use the Silverado anymore is to tow something or go have a little fun, I have a little beater with a heater that I throw all mileage on for commuting since it gets 20+ mpg better then the truck.

Oh no problem man. Let me know what the 4.88s are like cause I know my 4.10s felt awesome so I'm sure yours will be unreal. And upload a highway cruise pic of the rpms!

so here's my newest additions. I may not have needed ARP bolts, but I needed metric threads for my application and it was an extra dollar for the Arp's so I got them. the diff cover was a early christmas present from the mother haha so i certainly didnt say no and I figured why not put a little added protection into my expensive diff. I waited until now to install it cause after the break in period I wanted to open up the diff and see the gears rather then just a drain and fill. PLUS it does look kinda cool haha
