heres the scoop ..when i bought my truck it already had HID lows and the fog lights...well now ive noticed that my RUNNING lights are flickering and some times the pass side doesnt even turn on...but if i turn the headlights on they both turn on and stop flickering

and just noticed one of my fogs isnt coming turning on

Flickering during daylight hours? The DRL circuit drops the voltage down to like 9V during the daylight, so I pulled the DRL fuses.

yes exaclty !!..i was curious if DRL droped the voltage .. i was thinking about jumping the DRL circuit so its gets the full 12volts..but maybe its just a better idea to pull the fuses

as far as the fogs..is there anything i can check to see if the bulb is burnt out? not sure on the life span of HIDs maybe il get lucky and its just a loose wire lol

A nice benefit of pulling the DRL fuses is the lights won't come on in the daytime, so you're saving over half the bulbs lifespan by not using them when you really don't need them.

Quickest test for the bulb is to switch it from one side to the other and see if it still doesn't ignite, just be careful not to touch the bulb with your bare fingers.

When my HID's flickered and or the Pass side would not come on i installed a relay harness. Problem went away. Not sure if this will help a DRL problem.

Just pull both DRL fuses and if you want complete control over your lights pull the sensor in the dash and install a resistor or diode im not sure thats what i did with mine

Default Check your Ground

Mine have a dedicated ground wire on each side, when I first installed them one would not come on; it was a bad ground to frame connection. check it out

Niff: how do you go about neatly deleting the nighttime auto-on option? What is involved in this resistor removal of which you speak?
