Lightbulb Remove Bump Stops or Get Aftermarket Ones?

hey everyone
Ive done some searching on this site, and fullsizechevy and havent come up with any answers.
I've currently got my rear end dropped 2" with shackles. I used to have it 3" and loved the looks of it but was constantly riding bump stops.

if I cut the bump stops off my frame will that give me enough clearance to have a smoother ride in the rear end or will I end up smashing axle to frame making my issue worse?
or would it be suggested to get like belltech bump stops that are shorter and I believe softer? Are there even any available (I havent found any online besides universals)?

its on my 2010 silverado so the bump stops are what looks to be welded on the frame, correct me if I'm wrong.
my only complaint is just the slightest bump and i'm riding the lumber wagon ahha, spraying my tim hortons coffee all over the place, or any weight at all and its sitting on the stops. it is a daily so I wanna try keep it somewhat practical at least for now...
thanks!

I've got blocks removed & shackle @ lowest setting for around 3.25" & it doesn't sit on the bump stops and rides great. Check to make sure your shackles aren't rubbing on the underside of the bed & not bump stops .

No rubbing issues or binding or anything. I actually torqued everything on the drive on rack and re checked after a week of driving. So maybe I'm just being a baby haha. Would cutting them help at all or no?

If you want to just be cheap, you could cut part of them off until you got some new ones. Your shocks might be worn as well, so I'd check into that.

Off the top of my head I can't remember what shock I got but it's the belltech street performance I believe. I tossed them in with the drop at the same time

You are supposed to tighten it down slightly, then set it on the ground, then torque it down!

Sorry, never heard of anyone running a shackle and sitting on bumpstops, even on my nbs at 4" I have about 2" before I am on mine.

Can you take a picture of the underside with the bump stops?
