Default rear drop?.....flip kit = how much drop?...NNBS RCSB

I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 RCSB 2wd and Im trying to decide on what drop to get and what size. Some kits offer replacement leaf springs and some simple flip kits, but they also use different hangers and sometimes shackles.

By just flipping the springs under the axle...how much drop will that yeild (keeping stock hangers/shackles etc)?

Also...do you still keep the overload leafs?..do they even work as designed anymore being flipped?

Any other tips/advice on kits/how much drop please dont hesitate to comment...Im new to the lowering scene

Now when you say the rear is dropped 7"...is that taking into account the removal on the stock 1.25" block?

Sorry for the questions, Im trying to figure all this out with a measuring tape before I take the plunge...lol
