Default Rcsb 6l80?

If you were going to put in a 6.2/6L80 in your RCSB, what tranny would you choose...AWD or 2WD? Pros and cons? Why?

Well in 42 years when I finally get to do the swap, I would like to put a TVS 1900 with the 6.2/6L80. Would AWD be better for that setup?

I drove my buddys supercharged AWD TBSS over the weekend, WOW! Now i catch myself daydreaming about a 6.2/TVS 1900/AWD takeoffs. I hate my friends, such bad influences on my pockets.

trust me i know what you mean...Skipperdaddy/Truckshop are some

AWD is more money, need 4 slicks, more things to break, but more grip, better street launches...so i vote AWD swap if the cash allows..but please dont take the cheap route...spend the money to make sure it lasts.

itll only take you 41yrs to finish ;p

Ya an AWD setup would be more money. And since my money tree is dying off because I forget to water it Ill probably stick to daydreaming about a 2WD 6L80 setup.

For my next ride I plan on a CC 6.2/6L80 4wd.
Still can't decide if I'd want to SC or Turbo it but probably turbo so I don't run the risk of throwing a belt and be fucked on the side of the road some where.

What extra parts would be needed from 2WD to AWD?

Is there a mpg difference between the two?
